Prairie dogs in Lawton

Prairie dogs are a big surprise to visitors in
Elmer Thomas Park. They are everywhere.

A bit destruction, but they are so cute!

The ground in OK looks pretty dry and sadly in need of grass. Love the color of the trees.

Neat! The only place we'd ever see prarie dogs around here is the zoo. Plenty of squirrels, possums & chipmunks tho'...not as cute.

There aren't any prairie dogs up here in Tulsa -- well, except in the zoo. It's neat that you have them there. My favorite Oklahoma wildlife also not found in Tulsa is armadillos!

I remember taking my boys out to see the prairie dog fields on the outskirts of Ft Collins, Co the winter we lived there...they were fun to watch, but a hassle for the ranchers!
