How does your garden grow?

DH and I had a lot of fun this weekend, out in the backyard.
We shoveled and hoed up a portion of the grass, and turned it over.
It took us two days.

Then we went out and got some veges for our garden: tomatoes (Romas are our favs), peppers, broccoli, onions, and yellow squash. Two of each, just in case they need cross-pollination...

It's not a big garden, but it will do, feeding us during the spring and summer! We placed my little turtle water sprinkler, right in the middle! Have a close-up of that sweet thing, in my wordless wednesday, tomorrow!

This totally makes me want to get out in the dirt! Wish it would stop raining and get a little warmer. =oP

Looks like you've been busy! Great job! We haven't done much in ours because it's been raining non-stop, but we have planted cherry tomatoes in our little greenhouse :)

It looks good. I like the big rocks.
I sure do hope we get something to grow...

Nice! You are way ahead of me. I have to get the guys to shovel for me. Maybe this weekend...

Your work will be worth it when everything starts to pop up!!!
I've never tried to plant broccoli, but I love it...might have to plant some this year :)

Very cool. I'd love to one day do that myself! For right now though, we have to settle for the areogarden as we don't have so much as a plot of grass!
