Four Questions

Goodness Gracious! I've been tagged by Ani, from Coffee Pot People, with Four Questions.

1. What section at the bookstore sucks you in?

The magazines and journals. What a selection, if you hit a good bookstore! I love these quick, information little "books" that don't cost an arm and a leg. So many subjects to look at. My favorite to date? Art Journaling! But it comes out only twice a year...

2. Favorite holiday?
I'm not much of a holiday person, but if I had to pick one (hopefully my mother won't see this), it's Christmas. Maybe because my family never celebrated Christmas... I don't like all the hoopla and months of store decorations, but I love buying one special ornament, for our tree, that best expresses the year. I've written about my ornaments before... like my first one:

3. What era would you like to live in/visit?
Any earlier time would have been a hard life for a woman. And anything later is going to be so polluted... and cold, no doubt! So maybe just a visit... to England, in the 19th century.

4. Favorite literary genre?

Historical fiction 1st, then Biography. I'm reading Wolf Hall right now, a historical fiction about Henry VIII and England in the 1520s.

I'm going to tag four more etsybloggers that I hope won't get mad at me.
Ms Moo (Spotted Cow Soaps), Erika (Nico Designs), Rose (randomcreative) and Cindy (DevineDesignsJewelry)

You're Questions:

1. What's your favorite store to go into?
2. Do you keep a journal or diary?
3. What time do you go to bed?
4. How many hours, on average, do you spend on the computer?

Ek...how many hours spent on the computer? That's a doozy of a Q in terms of one not liking their own answer!!

Deb, you answered Ani's questions so wonderfully! How fun to read your answers! I'm afraid I'm going to have to check that book out because that is one of the periods of history in which I'm interested. The journaling magazine sounds great!

I agree with you about magazines. I have had to limit myself or I go nuts!

What great answers! They let me see a little more "YOU", and I feel like I know you just a little bit better.

The magazine section...oooh, me, too! I have to fight the impulse to buy more, More, MORE all the time, and Anything Somerset Studios puts out will snag me. Have you seen Artful Blogging?

I love historical novels, too, but for some reason haven't read one in a long time.

And we have the tradition of a special new ornament, too!

Reading this, I see we have a lot in common, which makes me smile huge.
