AlphabeThursday tangle and treasury - inapod

Here's my "Letter I" tangle for the week, called inapod, created by Carole Ohl.  Sad to say, my pods look like green hotdogs in green buns!  I guess I didn't need to use color in this tangle...

As you can tell, I'm not too happy with my drawing, so I decided to see what other artists on Etsy were doing with the "in a pod" theme, peas in particular.  I've seen cute metal wrapped jewelry that are peas in a pod.  But this is the first time I've found people using different materials, when it comes to these cute, friendly veges.

Pop on over to my Etsy treasury and see how these snow peas (what I've always call them) are being created.

If you're interesting in other blog posts beginning with an "Letter I", Ms. Jenny's site has loads of opportunities to see what other bloggers are thinking about!

I like your little pea pods. They look like a graphic interpretation of the real thing. =) Think of how cute that would be on a fabric!

I think your peas look very stylized, not like hot dogs at all!

I always think inapod art is cute. I have some things from when my twins were born with "two peas in a pod" themes. You're doing fine. Art is HARD! I was hopeless - but i had gotten my sons a book called Mark Kistler's draw squad, and it's made me feel like I know what I'm doing, even though I don't. :)

I love pea pods. They are just so sweet and sculptural and smile inducing!

Thanks for a happy link this week.
