G is for Grass

Grass was on my mind this past weekend.  Long grass, green grass, dirty grass.  I've been putting off mowing the backyard.  Finally I broke down Monday morning.  After all, it was the end of the holiday weekend.  My back was sore afterward, but only for a day.  Probably all that bending over and emptying the bag.

Here's where we dump our grass in the back.  Our own little compost corner.  As you can see, we've been cleaning up a bit - DH was cutting weeds along the fence and chopping up stray limbs from the winter.

So grass has been on my mind.  And wouldn't you know it, I found the perfect tangle pattern to draw.  It's called Grass.  Now that's what I call synchronicity!  Finding just the right tangle to share with my AlphabeThursday class.  It was meant to be!  I love it.

What other words come to mind when you think of the Letter G?  There's a whole post worth of Gs, at Ms. Jenny's blog "off on my tangent."  Come check out the class {:-D

Grass reminds me of sneezing. My husband is allergic to it, but it doesn't stop him from working in the yard. :)

I don't have grass! I never have to cut my lawn!

Scrub oak can be a beautiful thing...

Our grass is rather dry, it hasn't rained enough in Belgium, which is very unusual ! It has never happened since the weather station was created in 1800 something !

We have to cut grass year round and I never tired of the fresh cut grass smell! Great tangle too!

Oh yes, grass has been on my mind as well, especially bearing in mind that I have already had some adventures with not less than 3 ticks! You see, grass cannot get out of my mind lately...

We don't have grass in our yard because we live in the desert. We still have to weed between the rocks, though!

What a neat design! My granddaughters have been trying their hand at this. One of them likes it...one isn't too sure yet...and the little one just gets out a crayon and draws her and I over and over again having a tea party.

You always have something grand to share!

Thanks for linking up.
