What I did on my Work Vacation

one last pic of the Blue Whale

Back in September, one of our assignment for my Falling For You course was to write about my summer vacation.  I didn't have a summer vacation!  But recently I went to the OMA (Oklahoma Museum Association) annual conference in Claremore.  That was sorta like a work vacation.  Meeting and greeting, talking to people, learning about new techniques and ideas.  And visiting sites, like the Blue Whale!

I must say thank you to Jim for pointing out the Blue Whale and thank you to John for stopping so we could take a better look.  It was the best activity of the whole trip!  There was also a geo-caching site there.  And I found the hidden "treasure".

You geocache too? That's awesome! I want to get out and find some more soon now that the heat has broken a bit!

I've never been on Route 66, that's crazy fun :D Is it a water park or is there just a random blue whale on a lake?

Fun page :) I love that some of your pages are like scrapbook pages :)

It looks great! I agree with Edi that I love how it's like a scrapbook page.

Sounds like you had a terrific time! I also think it's great that you have journaled (visually) about your activity. That's one of the things I always wish I would do, but just haven't set aside the time for it.
