A is for Artwork

It must have been a year ago when I belonged to an online art group, who drew from different themes every week.  Here's my drawing of an apple, that I tilted into my Junque Journal.  I'm so proud of it.  This apple gave me the confidence to continue drawing, even though I don't do as much as I'd like to.

But that's all going to change, beginning today.  I'm going to start drawing for my AlphabeThursday!

A few nights ago, I copied a picture of an astronaut, that was really sweet looking.  I tried to put a face to it, and messed that all up.  So I gave him an opaque visor, so you couldn't see his face.  When I looked at the drawing yesterday, I decided it needed some stars to be floating out there in space with him.  Those little stars really made the picture!  And my white pen worked, which was a wonder.  It hasn't been working, at least as far as I could see!  It's a White Sakura Gelly Roll.

This is very cool. Deb! Your astronaut is wonderful! I've had issues with white pens, too. I do have some Sakura pens that I like, so I'll have to try one in white.

Love the astronaut - they all have those shiny visors so you can't see their faces, anyway... so your happy accident was just because that's the way it 'sposed to be!

Wish I had kept some of my old sketch pads back when I thought I could draw. I'd love to be able to go back and look at them now!

That was a great save to give him an opaque visor! Good thinking!

Both your pictures are wonderful. So glad you have decided to draw for us once a week. I love to draw too, but don't often do it. You encourage me.

I've thought of starting my own little drawings, after seeing this.

And I used to love Sakura Gelly roll pens! They were my favourite! :)

Great journal of artwork :o) I think your astronaut turned out great-I love the idea of his opaque visor too.

Blessings & Aloha!
It's fun to be back in Ms. Jenny’s Alphabe-Thursday class again!

I thought your artwork was great. I'm useless with drawing. My pen is only good for writing poetry.

There's no better inspiration than Miss Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday!
See you throughout the upcoming weeks!

Thanks for sharing.

Oh cute, cute, cute!

Love that little astronaut! He looks like an illustration for a fun children's story.

What a sweet link this week.

This really made me smile.

Thanks for linking up to Alphabe-Thursday's letter "A".
