Short term goals for April

Assessment:
Last month I participating in some new challenges created by Less at the Art Journaling Ning.  They were very thoughtful and I spent my time drawing as well as collaging.  I attempted the "stamping on ribbon" technique I wanted to try out for my BBArtisans Challenge and for a postcard I made for a  Postcard Swap.  Instead of walking in the park like I planned, I spent time working in the yard.  I’ve lost 13 pounds since January, which sounds good to me.  Unluckily, I sprained my wrist at the end of the month, and haven't been feeling like doing too much lifting.

This month already looks to be real busy... that's getting to be a perpetual phrase of mine!  Here’s three things I definitely want to accomplish in April:

paper beaded eyeglass holders
1)  Make More Paper Beads
I am pleased to say that I sold two sets of paper beads last month.  Now it’s time to make some more (I don't want to go below my required number of items for the BBAs).  I want to make some more eyeglass holders.  A friend has been asking me about them (he's interested in buying a pair for himself), so I should feel inspired.  I might make one for myself at the same time...

Art Is Joy
2) Participate in the Weekly Art Date class
On April 1st, my art journaling class began - this is the second session.  I’m excited about getting the chance to do some new things.  Moira always has good prompts, like the one pictured above "Art is -----".  Anyone interested in trying art journaling will have a lot of fun in this class - it runs from April 1 through June 8th.  Moira loves to make videos, and I love to watch them!  A perfect match!

Galaxy Note
3) Learn about my Smart Phone
We hadn't planned on getting a smart phone, but since our phone contract ran out, we decided to switch providers and get a Samsung Galaxy Note for me.  My own little notebook!  I need to read all about how it works and find what apps I might want to add.  And maybe get a new case on Etsy.  More to come!

Sounds like some great goals Deb! And you know, the more variety you have listed in your shop, the more likely you are to sell!

The beads sell so it seems like a good idea to add those to the shop. Have fun creating!

Congrats on the weight loss Deb! I've thought of losing weight but so far nothing has happened. :( Good luck with your other goals too!

lots going on!
Making more paper beads would be great! Can you make them in different sizes/styles? I like the idea of photographing them with the paper from which they are made (even if you have to photograph the paper first).
13 pounds lost sounds fantastic! Congratulations!
I hope your wrist is on the mend.

I bet you'll end up loving your new smart phone. They're so handy to have when you're waiting somewhere or want to ck emails while on the run. Those new beads are gorgeous!
