21 Secrets - Empty holes

I've been wanting to use the scrap watercolor paper from my "Watercolor Playground" workshop at 21 Secrets.  The original page was from a technique called "Stripes," shown to us by Tammy Garcia.  I don't have a photo of the original page anymore, but the photo below is similar to it.

This page I used last week for my AlphabeThursday meme, W is for Watercoloring.  Conveniently timed!

Here I stamped and painted a cute house that I like.  Then covered it with the scraps I had remaining from punching circles.  Hardly had enough leftovers to wrap the entire sheet, so I wrote my name and date in the corner.  The only supplies I needed to complete this little project was two watercolor sheets (one with the Stripes I had done and the other to stamp on), some watercolors, a stamp and a 1" circle punch.  I might try this again, with a magazine page as the base.  Good thing is, I haven't touched the circles, and they can use it for something else!

This post is for Week 7 of Glue it Tuesday.  Come to Artsyville and see how other art journalists glue.

I was just thinking that I need a watercolor background for a drawing I have . . . maybe I'll do something like this. Thanks for the inspiration.

Water color is a lot of fun. You page looks great the way you've arranged the geometric bits together.

Stunning page. I have loved Tammy's workshop. My acrylics are missing me dreadfully though because I have become captivated by my watercolours. Her class sparked so many ideas for me! :)

Hi, there!
I'm in Tammy's class on 21 secrets, too. I even bought my first watercolor set, but I have not yet had time to use it.

Anyway, this is so cool! I'm looking forward to using my class pages as backgrounds, too.
