AlphabeThursday - V is for Variety

Five days a week, I get up at the same time, go through the same routine before work, and drive to the museum.  But once I get to work, things are different every day.  For the past two years, we’ve been planning new exhibits and working on a whole new gallery layout with fabricators over the internet and on weekly phone conferences.  I’ve also been working on a collection inventory, which leads me to new objects everyday.

"Variety's the very spice of life
That give it all its flavour."
- William Cowper, The Task (1785) "The Timepiece"  Book II, lines 606-607

I've changed up my routine after work too.  Got rid of satellite television, took up sewing (I’ve been on hold for about a month while I finish a long book), and bought some new stencils and paints.  My dog and ex-husband are out of the house and I have a wild bunny living in the back yard.  Very different lifestyle.

Come visit Ms. Jenny and the AlphabeThursday gang,
and see what words were chosen for the Letter V.

My family, which is very large, provides variety! At home my life is very routine, but interludes of family activities keep me hopping!

It's great to have variety in your work. And I'm always happy to connect with another person who likes to sew.

I think that your "work" at the museum would always be very interesting! I put quotes around "work" because it's surely more fun than work!! And your cute visitor bunny is just in time for Easter!

Sounds like you have the kind of life that would appeal to me. I got rid of satellite tv and now I read or watch movies on Amazon after work I have a bunny living in the bushes behind my house too!

Never a dull moment at your place then? You and your new bunny look very content with your various new projects. I don't wish to scare you, but I think that bunny is here to stay!!!
